The witch hunts were never about eradicating evil; it was based on fear of divine feminine energy. Women have carried a deeply rooted and long standing wound from being shamed for their true and authentic expression. It is time to put an end to the "taboo" nature of the word "witch" and empower women to stand in their own authentic nature, take up space and create more magic in the world! In our inogural year, Awaken the Witch is thrilled to bring a unique festival to southeast Nebraska communities. Our goal is to help educate the public on the metaphysical world, support those working in this field as a profession, and provide space to explore these avenues in a safe environment.Â
